JetGuide, Inc. ("JetGuide," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of pilots, flight training organizations, and other users of our AI-powered type rating training platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you access jetguide.com or any of our training applications.
By using JetGuide you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Please read this policy carefully before using our platform. Our goal is to be fully transparent about what data we gather, why we gather it, and how it is used to power your training experience — so you can fly with confidence knowing your information is in good hands.
1. Information We Collect
We collect several categories of information to deliver and improve our AI-powered training platform. Here is a full breakdown of what we gather across three primary categories.
Account & Profile Information
  • Full name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash)
  • Certificate type (ATP, Commercial, etc.) and certificate number (optional)
  • Aircraft type ratings held or being pursued
  • Training organization or Part 141/142 center affiliation (if applicable)
  • Billing and payment information via PCI-compliant processor
Training Activity Data
  • Quiz and oral exam simulation responses, scores, and performance history
  • Session timestamps, study duration, and topic engagement metrics
  • AI-generated feedback and coaching interactions
  • SMS oral exam question and AI reply history
  • Progress milestones against ACS objectives
Technical & Device Data
  • IP address, browser type and version, operating system
  • Device identifiers and screen resolution
  • Referring URL and pages visited within the platform
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6)
2. How We Use Your Information
JetGuide uses the information we collect to power a world-class AI training experience for pilots pursuing CJ1, CJ2, CJ3, and CJ4 type ratings. Here is how your data is put to work across four key areas.
Platform Delivery & Personalization
Deliver, personalize, and improve our training platform and AI coaching features, including daily SMS oral exam questions and AI reply responses.
Progress Tracking
Track progress against CJ1, CJ2, CJ3, and CJ4 type rating training objectives and ACS (Airman Certification Standards) milestones.
Payments & Communications
Process subscription payments and send transactional communications, support responses, product updates, training tips, and promotional offers (opt out at any time).
Analytics & Legal Compliance
Conduct analytics to improve platform performance and learning outcomes, and comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your information only in limited, clearly defined circumstances. Your data is never sold or traded for marketing purposes. The following outlines the specific parties with whom data may be shared and the conditions under which sharing occurs.
Service Providers
Cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, SMS delivery (Twilio), and analytics vendors who process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.
Training Organizations
If your account was provisioned by a Part 141/142 training center or airline, that organization may have access to your training progress data.
Legal Requirements
When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of JetGuide or others.
Business Transfers
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Data retention periods are designed to align with FAA regulatory requirements and ensure pilots have access to their training history when needed for certification and recurrency purposes.
Training Performance Data
Retained for a minimum of three years to support FAA currency and recurrency documentation needs.
SMS Interaction History
Also retained for a minimum of three years in alignment with FAA documentation requirements.
Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account at any time. Certain data may be retained to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have meaningful rights over your personal data. JetGuide is committed to honoring these rights promptly and transparently. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@jetguide.com. We will respond within 30 days.

JetGuide uses strictly necessary cookies to maintain session authentication, and optional analytics cookies to understand platform usage patterns and improve the learning experience.
You may disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings without affecting core platform functionality. Your training sessions and progress tracking will continue to work normally.
Section 7: How We Protect Your Data
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including:
  • TLS encryption in transit
  • AES-256 encryption at rest
  • Role-based access controls for all staff
  • Regular security assessments and audits

Children's Privacy
JetGuide is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn we have collected personal information from a minor, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we may have inadvertently collected information from someone under 18, please contact us immediately at privacy@jetguide.com.

Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.
14-Day Advance Notice
